From the supplier: Property and casualty insurers, along with employer groups, are endorsing the Kassenbaum-Kennedy health insurance bill. A limitation on excluding preexisting conditions is considered the centerpiece of the bill, which also includes health insurance renewability guarantees, among other provisions. A "parity" provision for covering mental health benefits, which many insurers and employers object to, was omitted from the final legislation.
