From the supplier: The Health Insurance Assn of America (HIAA) is concerned about a provision in the Kassebaum-Kennedy healthcare reform bill that would guarantee health coverage to individuals who leave groups under certain conditions. HIAA president Bill Gradison, in comments at a press briefing, said that the provision could make individual health coverage unaffordable. The association supports the bill's provision that would guarantee the availability of group coverage.
